Format & Rules Of Play
The KHK Grand Final 2007 shall be played on a Modified System 36 Stableford format. Between your Handicap indicated in the KHK New Handicap Table and the handicap you play during the Final, which ever is lower, shall be your official handicap.
The Final shall be played over 18 holes in the respective Golf Course, subject to the Organising Committee's right in the event of inclement weather conditions or unforseen circumstances, which make the playing of 18 holes impossible, to cancel part of the holes.
Tie break
In the event of a tie, the winner SHALL be decided on count back (OCB). First is based on Handicap of the day System 36, followed by last 9 holes, last 6 holes, last 3 holes, and last 1 hole should there be a further tie.
Winter Rules
Winter rules will apply throughout the Final.
1. If muds sticked on golf ball, the ball may be lifted, cleaned and placed without incurred a penalty. But it does not apply if the ball is in the hazards.
2. Lost ball on the fairway only (due to plugged ball), provided agreed by 2 other members on the same flight, is entitle a free drop (lift, clean & place).
3. No mulligans is allowed throughout the Final.
4. You may declare a hole is blown (blow hole) so that to speed up the game.
5. A putt shall be given if the ball is within the putter length (of course, it does not apply to long putter like belly putter). Agreement must be obtained from a minimum of 2 other players in the same flight.
6. If the ball lies on bare patches of ground or divot of the fairway, a free drop (lift, clean & place) within one club length, but not nearer to the pin, is allowed. This does not apply if the ball lies on rough or hazards.
7. Any other conditions not mentioned above, please obtain the agreement from a minimum of 2 other players in the same flight.
8. If all the above still can't solve a dispute, carry on play by taking a provisional shot, the Organizing Committee will decide the outcome after the game.
